Almaz Seyoum Beyene, a sister company of Dimtu Coffee Industry PLC established on the 10th of December 2010 G.C is highly involved in exporting quality green Ethiopian coffee beans from the high lands of Ethiopia (the birth place of coffee) of different varieties like Sidamo, Yirgacheffe, Lekempti, Djimmah, Limmu, Harar coffee beans that are processed in both ways; washed and natural at Dimtu Coffee Industry’s washed and dry mill stations at Shakiso/Tero and Hambella, Guji zone.

Our Coffees
Types and origins of coffees supplied
In the year 2022, Almaz Seyoum Beyene has traded its quality Ethiopian green coffee beans of Lekempti, Guji, Yirgahceffe, Sidamo and Djimmah to the world’s leading and biggest buyers.
Guji Coffee
Located in Southern Ethiopia “Oromia Region” along the rift valley grown between 1400-2200m.Various grades both washed & unwashed coffee produced. Medium to small roundish size, grayish color, sharp acidity & spicy flavor.
Limmu Coffee
Located in the Southwest of Ethiopia between 1400-2020m. Produce washed coffee. Characterized by oval to oblong with rounded ends, grayish in color, sharp acidity & slight spicy flavor.
Yirgacheffee Coffee
Located in the SNNP region between 1770-2000m. Produce both washed & natural coffee. Characterized by medium to small size bluish color, balanced acidity & fruity flavor.
Sidamo Coffee
Located in the southern Ethiopia betweeb 1400-2200m. Produce both washed & natural coffee. Characterized by medium to small size, grayish color, sharp acidity & spicy flavor.
Jimma Coffee
Jimma encompasses Ethiopia’s largest basket of unwashed coffee. Produced in the southwestern region of Ethiopia characterized by medium acidity, heavy body & balanced & fruity flavor.
Lekempti Coffee
Nekemte coffee is produced in Western Ethiopia and it is highly valued for its pleasant fruity flavour. At times the higher-grade coffee can be unique with honey, citrus, and floral notes.

The logistics department is the back bone of the company, Delivering the beans with no damage directed to our buyers. The department incudes inbound, outbound and transit service. Our inbound as well as out bound logistics is very coordinated and well designed to our system giving out the most favorable service and facilitates the work being done in an excellent standard.

Export performance
Our export performance has been progressing through the years in a dynamic way. Proudly speaking, we have started our journey in 2012 G.C with an annual sales of 91.2 tons and reached 2,411.4 Tons annually in 2022 G.C
In the year 2022, Almaz Seyoum Beyene has traded its quality Ethiopian green coffee beans of Lekempti, Guji, Yirgahceffe, Sidamo and Djimmah to the world’s leading and biggest buyers; namely MERCON B.V, MARUBENI EUROPE PLC 95, PERSNAM CORPORATION, DAARNHOUWER COFFEE, LOUIS DREYFUS COMPANY, E-MART INC, HEINRICH CHRISTEN, INTERCOM S.P.A and DREYFUS COMPANY.

On march 4, 2016 Almaz Seyoum Beyene won the UCC-UCC EU COFFEE QUALITY CONTEST ADDIS ABABA.On march 4, 2016
On September 15, 2022 Almaz Seyoum Beyene was awarded by the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority as the third women’s coffee exporter.
